Jim Tegelhutter, PhD, is a leadership coach, speaker, and organizational strategist with over 38 years of experience developing leaders, shaping culture, and guiding individuals through seasons of transition and growth. With a rare blend of pastoral wisdom, doctoral-level leadership insight, and decades of real-world experience, Jim helps leaders move from burnout and drift to clarity, health, and sustainable impact.
Jim has served in a wide range of leadership roles—including youth pastor, senior pastor, associate pastor, academic life coach, and ministry founder—giving him a uniquely broad and grounded understanding of organizational life. For ten years, he served as Senior Pastor of Revive Church in Central Florida, where he led vision, culture formation, staff development, and leadership multiplication. Today, he is the founder of Relentless Ministries, a coaching and speaking ministry focused on leadership longevity, spiritual formation, and organizational health.
Known for his engaging, honest, and humorous communication style, Jim is a sought-after speaker for churches, leadership retreats, and conferences. His teaching combines biblical depth, practical leadership strategy, and emotional intelligence, helping leaders navigate complexity without losing their soul. He is particularly effective with leaders facing burnout, transition, conflict, or the weight of long-term responsibility.
Jim holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Southeastern University, along with graduate and undergraduate degrees in leadership from Bethel University. His doctoral research explored pastoral accountability and covenant community, reflecting his lifelong commitment to healthy leadership structures and relational integrity.
In addition to coaching and speaking, Jim is an author whose writing is marked by clarity, conviction, and authenticity. His work challenges leaders to rediscover calling, embrace formation over performance, and lead from a place of depth rather than depletion.
Jim and his wife, Monique, live in Central Florida. When he’s not writing, coaching, or speaking, Jim remains passionate about mentoring leaders, building sustainable ministry cultures, and helping people finish well.
