Pastoral Coaching

Too many pastors are an island unto themselves. They can be overworked, burnt out or in a state of depression with no one to talk to. Dr. Tegelhutter researched this phenomenon in his dissertation and discovered all these things to be true. Relentless Ministries desires to be a resource to encourage pastors to finish their race strong.

What is pastoral coaching? Well, quite simply, it is an accountability partnership that exists to encourage, sharpen and build a pastor to help him in the rigorous duties of pastoring. It is often said that the only ones that truly understand ministry are the ones who do it and this is absolutely true. No one understands the pain, hurt, sacrifice, betrayals and hardships that full-time ministry can bring unless you are in the midst of it yourself.

Dr. Tegelhutter has worked in full-time ministry for almost four decades and has literally seen the good, the bad and the ugly that it can possess. Through doing the research in his dissertation, he developed a heart for those serving in ministry and desires to help ministers accomplish their callings with joy. He is also networked with a group of pastors that have the same desire to see ministers succeed. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (AMP) states, "Two are better than one because they have a more satisfying return for their labor; for if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and does not have another to lift him up."

Dr. Tegelhutter can be scheduled to do a virtual meeting with either a one time meeting, weekly meeting, bi-weekly meeting or monthly meeting. He also has other pastors that are available to do the same. Having a confidential accountability partner that understands the landscape that ministers face on a daily basis is an incredible resource to have and it is one Relentless Ministries is delighted to provide.
